In traditional IFT (Interferential Current Therapy) technology, the therapeutic zone is limited to the 4-leaf area. As compensation, vector scanning function such as 90¢X swing was invented. However, there is still limitation.
In early 80s, GYMNA® (former PHYACTION) firstly launched new IFT vector technology, leading IFT treatment to maximum effect. ISOPLANAR VECTOR gives 100% modulation depth in the whole area within four electrodes.
Another patented vector technology introduced by GYMNA®(former PHYACTION) is DIPOLE VECTOR. The electrical current is modulated to flow diagonally and to rotate 360¢X creating a detonization (massage-like) effect.
Although the patent protection of the abovementioned vector technologies have expired and some manufacturers have claimed capable of replicating these technologies, GYMNA®(former PHYACTION) is still rated the best IFT device by global users.
